At Green Basket Solutions (GBS), we're a small team of locals who care deeply about the land, the stories, and the traditions that make Yap our home.

We started GBS  because we saw something worth protecting—the native plants and animals that our people have relied on for generations, especially those with powerful cultural and medicinal value. To us, conservation isn't just about science—it's about identity, memory, and respect for what's been passed down.

We work side by side with elders, families, and communities to make sure this knowledge and species don't get lost. Whether we're out in the field, teaching youth, or simply listening and learning, everything we do is rooted in connection—to each other, to the environment, and to the wisdom that lives in both.
